ABOUT ME

We have travelled some when before we had children, seeing most of western europe, then living in Sussex, England for 2 years when our children were young, then in Olympia WA, USA, before settling on living in Madison, WI, where we raised our children. Linda has run a hostile in Ireland for a month each summer for the past 5 years. We now have a cabin in Polebridge, MT, adjacent to Glacier National Park, where we spend our summers. We enjoy hiking and biking and meeting new folks.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Linda is a retired teacher who loves children and meeting new people. She enjoys biking and having a good time visiting with her friends, old and new. She has been a member of a book club in Madison for over 25 years. I am a retired legislative attorney who enjoys walking, biking and reading, and watching college football and basketball, and Packers football.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have swapped house with folks in Colorado, and housesat for folks in Madison, WI.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Robert spend one summer as an meteorology student at a weather station on Ellsmere Island, about 200 miles from the North Pole.
