About Me

I'm a young professional based 6 miles south of uptown Charlotte. I love meeting new people, staying active outside, and taking on new challenges. I currently work the normal 9-5 day job, and I spend most of my free time with friends in Charlotte or taking weekend trips to nearby cities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Right now I'm mostly hosting since I've got an open room, and I hope to take advantage of the network the next time I explore a new city.

Interests

Outdoors - hiking, backpacking, camping, kayaking, skiing, running, etc

Scuba Diving - there's an amazing world below the surface most people never see
Skydiving - it's something everyone needs to experience at least once
Traveling - I love exploring new places and getting out of my comfort zone

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving. Getting licensed in college was an amazing experience that taught me about overcoming my fears and making the most of life. Since then I've met hundreds of people from all walks of life in the tight knit community of skydivers, and it's given me the confidence to take on new challenges in other aspects of life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Respect, flexibility, and Southern culture. Opening up your home is a huge gesture of trust and hospitality, and I make sure that doesn't go left unappreciated. I'm a very laid back person and am usually up for just about anything, and I think that goes a long way in keeping the couchsurfing experience a positive one.
