Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

How I ended up in here? - a friend recommended the site. My aim (despite being couch surffers site), is to use CS as a more personalised version of LonelyPlanet. In other words, main purpose is finding like minded personalities, willing to spend a few days anywhere far from city centres and overcrowded touristic spots, a kind of either local underground/nature guide or another foreign enthusiast, visiting same country with me. Hence, I am not much after sleeping into someone's house; instead my preference would be visiting hidden for the public places with that host. Unknown fests, natural wonders, small rural heavens, local jam sessions, a kind of. So, it is more about making contacts with cool people and less about saving the 10 euro hostel.
Oooh, and I do better with art orientated personalities rather than the business/office type.
