About Me

Grew up in/around Chicago and consider it my home. Went to college in the small run-down southern Indiana town of Terra Haute. Graduated, moved down to Austin, Texas and worked for the EPA for a bit until I decided the bureaucracy wasn’t for me. Worked for one of the 2 cricket farms in the US, than for a small local political campaign. Worked for a conservation core in Colorado; had a great time camping, building trails, and exploring the mountains with a crew of amazing people. Going back to the same core in the summer but traveling until than! Still young with a lot to learn!

My favorite thing is meeting new people and learning about their lives and ideas. Drawing is a big hobby of mine and one of my favorite things is chilling at a coffee shop and spending hours sketching people coming and going. I also love checking out local music and art scenes; observing how they differ from city to city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Completed a month-long 10km minimalist 2 person road trip with only a tiny sedan, tent, and bucket full of powdered food. My first experiment with minimalist travel. Showed me how being creative with your budget creates a more interesting and intense travel experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’ve met a lot of interesting ing people and have been through some intense experiences in my youth, which have made me very open and understanding. Love discussing peoples opinion on social issues and their outlook on the world as it helps grow my empathy.
