About Me
Hi! I'm an ESL teacher, currently based in Melbourne . I lived in china for over three years, with a brief interlude in Korea. I love to meet new people, learn new things, and share experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and learning as much as I can about places I've never been and cultures I've never experienced.
Interests
Everything! I love outdoor activities like hiking and cycling, and indoor activities, like listening to music reading, or playing games with friends. I love to learn new things.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all of these, and my tastes tend to be very eclectic. I will read anything, as long as the writing is good. Musically, my tastes range from Psytrance to Thrash Metal, but my favourite band is the Shins. I am always up for listening to a new genre though!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Camped on the Great Wall of China in the snow, on my 30th birthday.
Rode my bicycle 500kms through the Chinese countryside.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning, and I love teaching. I particularly love to learn new recipes, and I can teach you some great, simple Chinese recipes. I also speak a small amount of Chinese, and can teach survival level Chinese, and Pinyin.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook a large variety of foods, and I'm an English teacher, so if you want to improve your English, I'm your man.
