About Me

I’m currently a tutor, and I recently graduated at St. Andrews University studying mathematics. I absolutely love travelling, yet don’t get to do it often, which is a shame as I’ve got so many countries I want to visit. My goal one day is to spontaneously book flights to somewhere completely new a few days before flying.

I absolutely love films, and have been lucky enough to work in cinemas for a few years now, so I’m able to always see new films for free. I love films from all over the world, and would love to receive recommendations.

I’m vegan and love to find and cook new recipes. I would be so grateful to be taught new dishes.

I’d describe myself as a friendly, warm and calm person, occasionally quiet, but in a good need of getting out my comfort zone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The idea of being able to fully embrace and learn about a new city and culture excites me so much. I’m fed up of trying to find local restaurants and things to do when on holiday, and so being told the best places to visit and being taken around a city personally sounds incredible. I also love meeting and befriending new and different people, and Couchsurfing seems like the perfect place to do it.

Interests

I’m interested in almost everything, especially about people’s lives and cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all sorts of music, and wish all my favourite musicians and bands were at a single festival this summer, but that would be too good to be true. As said before I love films from every country, and am always up for a movie night. I buy a lot more books than I actually read, but my favourite books are Ready Player One and the Godfather.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Buying plane tickets to Vienna for a pence a flight. I was unfortunately unable to go, so I guess it was technically the cheapest holiday I’ve been on.

Teach, Learn, Share

In the very unlikely situation that someone is struggling with a maths problem, I’d be very happy to help. I would love to share vegan recipes with anyone, and help cook with anything. I don’t have too many dishes to share, but being taught anything would be very appreciated. I’d also love to learn any words from a different language.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I believe I can only share stories and experiences, as well as providing great conversation and a pleasant atmosphere.
