Overview
About Me
Total nerd. I love to think and to be challenged intellectually by others. Very much enjoy discussing/debating politics, religion, existential risk, etc.
On the flip side I can be a bit of a party boy as well 😅 I love dancing, karaoke, drinking, and having goofy, meaningless conversations.
I really do believe that you have to try to live every day to its fullest. Whether it’s work, study, or fun you simply have to go all in every day. I’m constantly at war with the temptation to do nothing. I know that one day I will look back on this period of my life and trade everything to be here again.
I just graduated University with my Bachelor's in Biology. I'm now traveling the world and working out of my laptop as a web developer.
Atheist.
American.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I find CS to be pretty hit or miss.
Sometimes I host or hangout with people and there just isn’t much of a connection, conversation doesn’t flow, etc.
The hits, however, keep me on the app. I’ve connected with so many smart, funny people here. They were a joy to host and I know I’ll see them again later in life.
That being said, I don’t have to become lifelong BFFs with every person I host 😅 I live alone in this giant riad and it can get pretty spooky here when I’m alone. I’m always happy to fill it with people and hear about their corner of the world.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading science, history, and other non-fiction.
Top three shows are GOT, Rick and Morty, and Seinfeld.
Favorite podcasts are:
Waking Up
Skeptics Guide to the Universe
Pod Save America
Very Bad Wizards
My Favorite Murder
Hardcore History
Right now I'm listening to Atmosphere, Jurassic 5, and Against Me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did a research project on a glacier in Greenland!
What I Can Share with Hosts
It can be whatever you want. I’m down to hang out in the evenings when I’m done with work. If you just need a place to crash you can have your space and freedom. I’ve seen a lot of Marrakech and Morocco but I’m always interested in exploring a new part.
