ABOUT ME
Gap year student looking to see the world, beauty and warts. Very open-minded and enthusiastic about adventure, I'm always searching for novelty. Although I do like my alone time, I love deep conversations, and learning more from the world and its people.
PHILOSOPHY
The only thing you can prove is your own existence. We only have one, and they're short- so make the most!
Never heard of that exotic item on the menu? Try it.
Stunned by a snowy summit in the distance? Climb it.
Found a beautiful woman in line at Starbucks? Say hi.
Your life is none but your own, so live to the fullest!

Last book I read: Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway
Currently Reading: Brother Number One: A Biography of Pol Pot by David Chandler
Enjoy a really broad range of books, including novels, scifi, fantasy, nonfiction science/business, and biographies.

Right now into alternative/indie rock, but I enjoy all types of music (as long as it's good! ;P )
Favorite Movies: The Departed, Synecdoche New York, Casino
TV: Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire,
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ran 20 miles on New Years Eve with a cold.
Fed a rhinocerous:
Before me stood the type of creature that belongs in a toy store, one of the world's largest and most fearsome horned beasts. At 2 tons and 12.5 feet, she snatched a carrot from the palm of my hand.
Caught a dorado in the Pacific:
After wasting away the day smoking cigars along the Baja, it seemed as though all hope of catching anything was lost. Two tugs later, a flash of green in the water, a great tug of war ensued. Fighting the fish and the tide, we soon won a delicious victory.
Used a french fry vending machine:
Had no idea such a thing even exists until Israel. You pay 10 sheckel, wait 60 seconds, and out pops a freshly cooked batch of french fries. Magic.
