ABOUT ME

I think my Wireless Hotspot device causes the faulty login location information. I'm pretty sure I'm not in Kansas... unless I got reverse Dorothy'd!

I'm a wanderer at heart anchored by many thousands in student loans. Last Fall I attempted to combine working remotely and traveling to both pay my loans and finally live my dream, but it proved unsustainable. So for the moment, I am back 'home' working on ways to break free for good.

I'm excited to meet travelers, wanderers, explorers, and folks of all kinds; while it may often not be possible for me to host during the week, I'm more likely able to hang out. If you find yourself in the greater south jersey area or in Philly and looking for someone grab coffee or a beer or some grub with, let me know; I'd love to hear about your travels.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It's mind-boggling how easy it is to get to know someone just via opening your home to them.
Last Fall I am saw the community from a couch surfers perspective and absolutely loved the experience. People were amazing, generous, helpful, and just so awesome to get to know!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Over the past 4.5 years I have hosted bands and a few couchsurfers in my home in Jersey. Most often they were friends of friends or bands where I already had at least an acquaintanceship.

I have couchsurfed and hitchhiked from Pittsburgh to Chattanooga.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I love movies, many kinds, but they've fallen a bit out of my priority at the moment.

Music: In a hurry to streamline, minimize and transfer from a Mac to a PC, I lost much of my music. I have fairly broad tastes, and usually don't know much about genre but prefer to go by what grabs me. I would love to share the music I have and love, and would be thrilled to be introduced to anything new!

Books: Fiction, non-fiction, biographies, philosophy, how-to-guides and more! I've loved reading from a very young age, and am always ready for a new recommendation. Currently I am re-reading Ishmael by Daniel Quinn in preparation to read the other 2 related books that he wrote.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling by the generosity of drivers and couchsurfing hosts. It was nearly non-stop beautiful encounters.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm willing and eager to teach and share anything I have that is of interest (maybe a few games, some random facts, or even just life philosophies) and am even more eager to learn anything that is willing to be taught.
