About Me

I'm a passionate person who loves people and is always interested in how things work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Ever since I tried Couchsurfing I had so much good experiences. It gives you the inside view of a country. You live and talk with the people that experience the life in the country firsthand.

Also it is a format for giving. Something that I try to practice as good as I can. I think Couchsurfing is one of the best initiatives on the internet.

Interests

I love music. In my young years I used to be a hardcore DJ and I still occasionally uploa mixes to Soundcloud. But my musicla taste has ventured quite far. I listen to almost anything. My main rule is that it has to be embodied with a soul.

I like writing. I don't do it as often as I should, but the feeling you get from creating something beautiful is very fulfilling, or even just formulating something the exact way as you intended it. I like reading ofcourse. Alternative views mostly. Graham Hancock and Zecharia Sitchin are favourites. Openmindedness is key.

And the typical guy-fever football. A big passion. I can leave the cans alone on the street, but when a ball passes I have to kick it :). My team is Feyenoord Rotterdam.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite music: pfff. Ok. Pink Floyd, Extince, De Dijk, Fitz & The Tantrums, Jimi Hendrix, Soundgarden, Otis Redding or almost any soul from the 60's, Rory Gallagher, Cas Ronckers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Photograph a UFO (or standing next to the photographer who actually took it) in the South of France near UFO mountain pic de Bugarach. Freaky I know, but I can show it if you host me, haha.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach? If you have 2 turntables I can show you how to mix oldschool. I can tell you my dark views of the current state of the world if that's your thing. I also meditate. I can show how that works.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Dutch cheese, Dutch music, or any music actually. I make good tostis (with butter in the pan). They are 2 bread slices filled with cheese and ham or some other ingerdient and cooked till the cheese melts.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Belgium, Croatia, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Poland, Scotland, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
