ABOUT ME

I'm a fairly outspoken person and enjoy discussions on a variety of topics from music to the evolution (or devolution) of language. I tend to be a pretty open-minded person and up for anything at least once. I also hate writing self-descriptions like this >_< haha

Ignore when it says I last logged in from California, it's a proxy server I use to deal with annoying "not in your country" messages...

Interests

I love music and would probably lose my mind without it; pretty much any kind except rap (but even some rap). When home, I'm usually either watching a movie or playing computer games (EVE Online, DayZ, and of course Minecraft). I read when I can, primarily science fiction. I'm a fan of the classics: Heinlein, Herbert, Azimov, Clarke, though I've also found interest in Scalzi, Richard Morgan (his Takeshi Kovacs trilogy is amazing), and Dani and Eytan Kollin's "Unincorporated" series.

I also have a strong interest in computers and networking, with a focus in security. I'm in the process of teaching myself Python and am an avid Linux user.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Honestly not sure what to put here. Probably a few of the most awesome times I've had were my first trip diving off Moucha, New Years' Eve 2011 here in Germany, and the Moondance festival in Georgia, USA.
