About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission in life is to see as much of the world as possible; call it my giant bucket list! Alas, I have a long way to go. Perhaps Couch Surfing is my answer....

ABOUT ME

Man, this is like wide open for me to say anything...

I'll give a brief sentence for now and come back to it later:

There is so much to know, we are complex creatures, but I have lived an interesting life. I enjoy sharing my stories/adventures so perhaps we can exchange tales. More than likely, by the time one reads this I will have even more stories to tell. I just want to travel, meet interesting people and do "interesting" things. More to come...

PHILOSOPHY

Fight the good fight! Learned it from my pops. Then the other day I read this:

F.E.A.R.: has two meanings
1. Forget Everything And Run
or
2. Face Everything And Rise

Which do you choose?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Odd question and very open ended. How do I participate in what? Life? I like to think I am just small small part in the larger part of universe. And maybe, just maybe have some affect (big or small) on it. That is all...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None other than the plethora of times I have crashed on my friend's couches. Don't know if it's the same as what this site has to offer but as long as I have a place to rest my head in a safe location than I will continue moving forward.

Interests

Travelling (duh), learning, meeting new people, bartending (a way to meet new people), movies, writing, and getting lost...

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Anything Wes Andeson, Big Lebowski, Tombstone, Pulp Fiction (well almost anything Quentin Tarantino), Snatch, really the list goes on and on.

Music: Grunge, rock and roll, hip hop and old school rap. Then for the quieter side of me, jazz and blues and the occasional country song (not a country music fan but be real, there are some really good country songs you just can't help singing along too and stomping your feet)

Books: Anything Vince Flynn, history books, I actually read and like Hunger Games 1-3, and more I can't think of right now, of George Washington's Spies, great book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Touched the Colosseum, jumped off the cliffs of Capri, saw the Dali Lama speak, walked through the suk in Fes, ate cow brain, lived in Los Angeles, this list is a work in progress. As it comes to me I will add it; there are so many though...
