ABOUT ME

I'm just a really laid-back person. I'm not too outgoing but that depends on the situation. haha

I love to laugh. If you know me, I have a distinctively loud laugh. Most of my friends have had to increase the volume of their laughs to compete with mine. haha

I'm a pretty understanding person. I might not like what you're talking about or what you're doing but I can't make you change your opinion or your ways. Because of this, I like to focus on what's happening in the moment and I worry more about having a good time and not creating tension. Let's just have fun! haha

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm going to be surfing for a while till I get my own place but once that happens, I will host people. Anyone traveling without kids or pets would be the best candidates. haha

Interests

I like to dance (anything from going to the club to ballroom to flamenco). I love to eat and cook. I will probs cook something New Mexican if I ever go somewhere or if someone ever stays with me. Be prepared to eat either way. haha I like to swim (swam throughout high school) and play water polo (play(ed) for UNM). I basically up for anything. haha I'm also really good at planning things so... haha

Music, Movies, and Books

I like horror movies just for the adrenaline rush. If it's a Will Farrell movie, I'll have to watch it more than once or twice to start laughing at it. James Cameron's Avatar is my favorite movie though. I like it just because of the cultural and linguistic things.

I don't like all kinds of music but I can appreciate each genre's characteristics. My favorite music to dance to is reggae dancehall. I would say that my favorite music is upbeat and fun to listen to.

I'm not too big into reading. I read a lot of science articles on the internet but that's the extent of my literary activity.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most amazing thing that I've seen is someone take a picture of a tree that I thought was just ordinary and kind of ugly. This kind of reminded me that everyone has a different view and experiences things differently.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can't wait to start hosting people! I love talking to people from other places. If they're from another country, knowing their language is always fun too. haha But back to me hosting... I was born and raised in ABQ and I know of a lot of places to visit and things to do and if I'm not sure where, I'll ask my friends. They should know some stuff too. haha
