I am a world traveler...just completed an Around the World trip. Called it "The KINDNESS Journey"...interviewed people about HOW they show KINDNESS to others. Writing a book on the experience. I like diversity and enjoy listening to others stories about their lives and culture.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I grew up in Houston, Texas in a culturally diverse neighborhood. I love interacting with other cultures and swapping travel stories and experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am mostly a Hosteller and backpacker. I am a "Lifetime"member of Hostelling International for many years. I have also enjoyed staying in the homes of families too as i travel around the world. I love sleeping exotic locations and family groups. I have slept on the floors of airports and homes on my travels. I enjoy the family experience you get in staying with a family or groups.

Interests

Hiking, writing, swimming, photography, trains, planes automobiles, swapping travel stories, listening to those stories about FUNNY travel happenings and exploring Hawaii!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rescued from the Andes Mountains during an excursion to visit a local village.

Visiting the Jungles of rural India and staying with the people of this village.

A serious bus wreck in China, while there, redefined my travel life due to the tragedy of it all and created a better understanding of the adventure and risks of travel...

Spoke to crowds of thousands about the Power of Kindness.

I enjoy learning about family systems around the world and some of the foods too. I especially like swapping stories about living in the USA.

Quiet clean neighborhood near downtown location and nearby to city bus connections and LOVE FIELD airport. Comfy Couch, Kitchen, Internet and favorite restaurant meals nearby.
