My day job is as a researcher on social and environmental justice issues in the community sector, then by night I work with a number of other community organisations and campaigns. I love travelling, and have backpacked across Eastern Europe and the US.

Mostly any movies - the stranger the better. Sadly these days all I seem to read are textbooks.
Most music is good, but we jam a lot of Joy Division, Mariem Hassan, Nouvelle Vague, The Buzzcocks, Duke Ellington, Led Zeppelin, Parov Stela, The Smiths, Angus and Julia Stone, Animal Collective, Japanther...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent 3 months in 2014 hiking the length of the South Island on the Te Araroa trail. Was totally kick-ass! Living in the bush, washing in rivers, drinking from streams and hiking through mud, rock, thorns and bush everyday.
