👩🏻 I am Roberta, 27 yo, born in Romania but 100% Italian.
☀️ I am friendly, positive and always looking for a new way to challenge myself and step out of comfort zone.

I lived in London for 3 years and then travelled around Europe and North America as a digital nomad (I worked mostly on SEO and Video projects).

After North America I moved to Australia for 2023 and I will spend here half of 2024 as well (I mostly live in hostel that’s way I can’t host at the moment 🥺). Then I’ll be back to Europe and I can’t wait to be able to host you over there and showing you my beautiful country!

🎒I was 21 when I did my first solo trip and the experience was just amazing! I travelled solo around Europe for years sleeping in many hostels but now I am looking for something completely different. That's why I am on Couchsurfing (❌this is not a date app, not interested in that)!!

How do I afford to travel around? I do a lot of volunteer jobs (my dreams are going to Nepal and Africa working in schools) and I work in the hospitality industry a lot because I do have a huge passion for food and customer service (It’s also a good way to meet new people and new culture)

👉 What can we do together?

- 🏃🏻‍♀️Any kind of sports and workout, I love outdoor activities but I never say no to a cup of tea and a book on a rainy day;
- 🧘🏻‍♀️Yoga and Meditation;
- 👩🏻‍🍳Cooking;
- Exploring the city and around, walking is one of my greatest passion so don’t be afraid to ask me for a morning walk!
- 🏕️Hiking and camping;
- Dancing (I am currently learning Bachata);
- Playing music (I play guitar but I don't have one with me).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Unfortunately I learned about Couchsurfing only during the quarantine time. I had a lot of time to understand how I can change my way to travel, meet more people and discover more and more about different cultures.

I think Couchsurfing can help me a lot to do so and to stop being shy and afraid of others.

I want to live a truly culture experience in order to grow as a human being.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music and I am always looking for some new vibes! I love spending a Sunday at home listening chill music or going to a latin club on Friday night. When I am nostalgic I like listening Italian songs and my absolutely Favourite are R and B/country songs!

I don’t have any subscriptions like Netflix etc but I love going to the movie theatre!

Reading is one of my fav hobbies, I could read anything from Philosophy, travel to mindfulness books. (Without mentioning romantic and fantasy books of course) 😉

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Studying Philosophy at University;

- Becoming a digital nomad, the dream job for many; Quit the dream job cause I wasn’t happy enough;

- Buying an one way ticket to the US and start a solo trip adventure around the world.

- Moved to Australia broke and starting again and again;

- Diving on the Great Barrier Reef

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Italian language and cook.

I would love to learn a new language, how to cook local food and discover a different culture.

Finally, I can teach everything I know about digital marketing or new skills to travel around.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I truly feel so much joy for life and I would love to share this with awesome human beings! Quality time is import to me, I am not looking for anything fancy or expensive, a beautiful sunset on the beach, a ride together singing songs or just chatting about life and goals are the best!
