About Me

I'm an unstoppable, passionate traveller. I'm always travelling, even when I'm going to work on a crowded bus, or when I stop for a tea in an unknown place. Curiosity is what makes me live, everyday, what makes me enthusiastic about any single experience I do. What is more difficult for me is make a choice, because I would do everything, but in spite of this I always choose the most unexpected direction, the one nobody would trust in. I try. Nothing bad can happen if you have a positive mood, right?
I love changing, 'cause the world can't be read just from a single point of view... so my life is a continuous change of path, and there are many places I can call home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love this way of travelling: un-organised, with few (or no) plans, but a lot of willingness to discover something new. And meeting, sharing and listening to other people's stories is one of the best ways to do it.
Some of my best trips, walks, coffee breaks, language exchanges, talks and friendships came from CS. It's just one of the best places where you can find authentic people, people that really know the meaning of the word sharing. When I choose to meet a couchsurfer it's just so natural, than, to share a small part of my life with him/her. It's like we already know each other from another place and time!
It goes without saying, I don't like so much copy/paste personal descriptions and messages. If this is not your case let's spend some time together :)

Interests

It's a long list, but I'll try to summarize!
First of all: travelling, as much as I can. Travelling in a slow, conscious and creative way. What I love is let my travel experience create herself, and taking all the good things that this experience can give me, without any anxiety or fear.
I love photography (especially film photography: if you are a film photographer too, let's have a talk!), theatre (as a viewer and as an acting student - I did two plays with a great group of friends and it was one of the best experiences ever); than reading, reading and reading. But also eating: I love trying any kind of food (one on my favorite things when I'm travelling - and I'm afraid of nothing!). I love cooking when there are other people around, and make multicultural meals!
I also like writing, most of all short stories, under the influence of one of the best writers ever, Raymond Carver. And I also write a lot about my travels... maybe one day I will put everything in a book!
I'm keen on live music, walking randomly through unknown cities, getting lost in colorful markets.
And I'm totally in love with the sea.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first things that come up to my mind...
A 2 days trip on a train through India, leaving my job to go travelling, listening to a piano-solo concert in the woods, climbing an high wall for the first time, falling in love with the city I live in.
And coming back to my beautiful island after a long time.

What I Can Share with Hosts

At the moment I am kind of a nomad (well, I always am!) because I'm moving from Rome to somewhere else (and I still don't know where)... so it's not easy for me to host now, but I'm always available to share my time with other travellers :)
