We left middle school teaching when No Child Left Behind forced us to give in. We spend winters in Florida, summers in NJ, are very active, and travel often (7 continents, 150+ countries, always planning the next trip. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We've been hosting and traveling with Servas for 40 years (hundreds of visits and guests) and strongly believe that this is the way to see the world and get to know earth's people. Peace happens one person at a time.

one of the first to raft the Zambezi below Victoria Falls, trekked the Karakoram up to the Chinese border, hiked Annapurna circuit, walked from Colombia to Panama through the Darien Gap, survived the sixties and seventies intact, went to Woodstock Festival (but didn't see any performances until the movie)
