ABOUT ME

I study Electronic engineering at the Nottingham Universtiy, Currently in my first year. Play the guitar, love playing video games and watching films. I also love travelling whenever the time and money arises. Recently I've been getting into walking with plans to walk the coast to coast trail across the UK (look it up if you haven't heard of it, the scenery is amazing passing through 3 national parks.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a student with only a room to my name I'm in no position to host couch surfers but I'm quite happy to meet up with surfers to show them around Notts if i'm available.

I know in years time when i have my own place to call home I will be able to reciprocate people who have been kind enough to host me, and i look forward to the day I can do so.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any experience couch surfing through couchsurfing.org but I have participated in 2 exchanges staying with friends in india and the Czech republic. Both experiences have been fantastic, i really love the idea of staying with someone who knows the location and can give you some background knowledge to the area rather than staying in a hostel somewhere.

Interests

I play the guitar fairly proficiently and ocassionaly record my own music. I love reading, watching films, listening to music and playing video games. It goes without saying i'm an avid traveller. I play squash a few times a week. It's my favourite sport by a long way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most incredible experience I had was staying in India. It was the first time I had visited a non western society and the change was so vast I spent the whole visit in a state of wonder. The sounds, smells and sights are so vastly different it had a big effect on me. It established my need to travel. The food was also delicious ;)

if people are up for a good chat so much can be learnt from that alone... I suppose I could teach you how to juggle as well?
