ABOUT ME

Hanging out with friends, outdoors, climbing, running and some science (occasionally ;)
I love spending time at the sea on a stormy, overcast day. Can't wait for the next winter - though I switched back to skiing after six years of boarding - yeah I know: traitor ;)
Oh and at night I stand behind the bar of a local night club.

Did I mention photography? Well for the amount of kit I carry with me, I am pretty awful. But maybe I get better if I don't stop trying.
Besides sports (active not passive) I like all sorts of culture and art - music, theather, museums, paintings and the like. I am eager to learn new things - preferably not related to Physics :D

I like Phillip K. Dick and George Orwell. Plenty of science literature on my shelf as well.

I think I really should get a second foreign language. At this very moment I gravitate towards Spanish. Well we see...
I believe in the idea that knowledge should be freely available to anybody interested. So if I can provide advice in my field of expertise I am happy to do so.
