Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To grow a giant basil plant on my balcony.
ABOUT ME
Some things that make my life complete: music, travel, meeting new people and making new friends, photography, trying new tastes, cooking...
I enjoy my time off (sometimes too much) but believe that things are better enjoyed when you have to work for them, in my case, holidays.
I would like to say I am a songwriter, but currently experiencing extreme writers block.
I have a small obsession with buying musical instruments.
PHILOSOPHY
I think a personal philosophy is really something to be developed over a lifetime. I think it changes with time.
I find the weather to have a profound effect on how I live, feel and act.
At the moment I place a lot of importance in what I eat, I avoid restaurant chains and food that requires unnecessary additives to taste good (e.g. MSG).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I was regularly hosting people at my place in London and attending some of the events. Would like to continue this now that I'm back in Oz. Happy to show people around Newcastle.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far a very positive experience. Have met some wonderful people on couch surfing, look forward to meeting more along my travels.
Interests
Exploring unknown places, playing, listening, writing music.
Firing up the BBQ, sitting around a campfire, having a beer and escaping from the city mayhem.
Where food comes from: how far it travels, what goes into the food we buy, the taste of locally grown produce. Cooking, and learning to cook food from different parts of the world.
The Simpsons.
