Overview
About Me
My name is Robert but everyone calls me "Dob"
I'm in the UK for 4 weeks after spending the last 3 months travelling around SE Asia.
I love my caffeine, a big feed, anything with two wheels, mountains and have recently started getting into BJJ.
PHILOSOPHY:
Get after it, stay humble.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd love to meet up with some locals and get them to let me in on their secrets of where the best coffee and/or beer is, best food, where the best gigs are, their favourite hiking trails.
Just want to get all the local information that you miss out on as a tourist.
Interests
Hiking/camping or pretty much anything that will get me up into the mountains or outside, the odd cheeky beer, gigs, I just started BJJ and loving it! Love animals of all shapes and sizes, grew up with cats, dogs and horses, I love motorbikes of every kind, reading and looking at maps and planning the next trip.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once broke into the Schönbrunn gardens in Vienna at 3 in the morning I. E. Opened the side gate (led by a local! I deny all responsibility)
We snuck through the gardens up the hill to the archway, climbed up it and watched the sun come up, then we're very promptly chased away by the gardeners, Whoops. But that was pretty amazing to share that experience with someone I'd only known for a few hours.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Anything I can spare, be it stories of previous adventures, walking your dog, buying the first round, or an array of handyman skills and I'm basically a professional large spider removalist (perks of living in Australia)
I make pretty awesome scrambled eggs with avo and bacon too!
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, Cambodia, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Laos, Nepal, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Spain, Thailand, Viet Nam, Wales
