ABOUT ME

Full of life, hundreds of interests, friendly, an avid independent traveler (I started at age twenty and have never stopped---all over North America (at least 20 times in Mexico/Central America/Caribbean,) 21 times South America, 22 times Asia, 4 times Africa (my wife and I married in Kenya in 1989,) at least 20 times in and out of Europe. I spent my professional career teaching preschool and elementary school. While teaching on a year-round schedule, Almost without fail, I left home on my breaks, finding myself anywhere around the world. Through my wide experience, I am super flexible. I once went to Saigon for four days to drop off a bunch of clothes, toys, and medical supplies to an orphanage, get a haircut, and have some glasses made----I'm not exaggerating! One thing I've enjoyed doing is to land in one place and find myself deciding my next move on the spot. Just three Examples: London '83--then to East Africa. Peru 98--then to Patagonia instead of the Amazon. London---then Algarve Coast instead of Scotland. Many more examples exist! Flexibility and friendliness is the key to joyous successful travel experiences!
