I am a friendly, laid-back American with many interests. I have a 4-year-old daughter and work as a personal banker in a community bank. I keep up on current events and like to read, hike, and be with friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed with a friend Jesse Allhands for a week in Madison, WI. After that I surfed with Stacy Cushenberry in Milwaukee for a night. A few years later, I surfed with Matt Larrain for a week summer in Cary, IL. I am also thankful to have surfed with Jacob Palmer in Philadelphia while my daughter had surgery.

I like most non-fiction or historical fiction or fiction that is very realistic - so travel stories, biographies, historical accounts, etc. Pretty boring stuff compared to other things. I like the drama and suspense of these stories.

I helped kids organize a play about how to prevent invasive aquatic species in the Great Lakes.

When I was 16 years old I spent three weeks in Germany and I studied abroad in Vienna.

I've hiked Mount Bierstadt in Colorado, which is one of the mountains above 14,000 feet.

I've seen my daughter grow from a baby to a kid, which is amazing!
