About Me

I love art and throughout my travels I’ve seen some awesome work done in street murals. I feel that it allows me to see the city or place I’m visiting through the eyes of the artist who created it.

In the past three years I have extensively traveled throughout Mexico and have enjoyed every minute of it!! Being able to reconnect with my culture while exploring the country has been an adventure on its own. I plan on traveling to Southeast Asia in the near future and immerse myself in the region's culture and history. It's always fun learning new things, meeting new people, and exploring new places!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a great way to meet people in the travel community who enjoy exploring while living in the moment!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I listen to just about anything that has a good rhythm, but tend to be select music based on how I’m feeling at the moment. I have discovered that often times the best way of being able to express yourself within yourself is by listening to a well composed melody. Below is a list of some of the genres I listen to:

- Rock
- EDM
- Banda
- Bachata
- Cumbias
- Salas
- Metal
-Classical
- Reggae

Movies:
I enjoy watching old Spanish comedy movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being able to participate in an intercambio with the university in Arrazola, Oaxaca, Mexico. I had the opportunity to interact and stay with local artisans who are very talented in their art and craftsmanship. The amount of detail and work that goes into creating Alebrijes is seriously beyond this world. If you find yourself in Oaxaca and have time to spare make sure to visit Arrazola to see how Alebrijes are made.

Visited the ruins of Monte Alban in Oaxaca, Mexico.
