About Me

My dog (Cocaí) and are traveling from Spain to China by hitchhiking with a mission in mind: to show that traveling with a dog is possible (and awesome), eliminate some stereotypes in that continent and to contribute our bit to the animal awareness wherever we go.
I really love traveling and meeting people so Couchsurfing is perfect. We all have something amazing to say or share.
I am into hiking and camping. Small things like sleeping under the stars (or storms sometimes!), or taking a morning dip in a lake or river makes me so happy and free.

Other stuff I love: movies, walks with my dog, ice-creams, playing basketball, non-sense chats, books... And above all, my family and friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Two reasons:

1) Thanks to Couchsurfing I can visit with my dog big cities without walking the streets in search of a dogfriendly place to stay, which sometimes does not even exist, and avoid spending a money I cannot afford (dogfriendly accommodation options are usually expensive hotels).
2) People who are in Couchsurfing deserve a visit! They really are the best: these guys offer so much without asking for anything in return. All I have had are awesome experiences and now have some great friends in different countries. Just enjoy them and make them enjoy with you.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like plenty of genres of music, movies and literature. From Northern Mexican music to The Beatles... Ken Follet to Harry Potter... and E.T to Arnold Schwarzenegger 90s movies!
I recommend The Alchemist, Watership Down and Thuesdays with Morrie. Also Frans de Waal for who love primates and animals in general.
I also love the story/philosophy of Into the Wild (book and movie).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Find a puppy in a small town in Bolivia, raise her... and end up traveling the world with her! We have traveled together throughout South America, North America and some places in Europe. And new destinations that are still to come! It is not easy to backpack with your dog but it is possible and the most beautiful thing in the world.
I am writing a blog if you want to read some of our adventures (English and Spanish):

Teach, Learn, Share

"Nothing can be and can not be at the same time, at the same place and from the same point of view". (León)

"There is no greater beauty or landscape than the human being". (Alicia)

"Lo dijo Sócrates y lo confirmó Platón: la última gota siempre cae en el pantalón". (Sócrates y Platón).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some knowledge: how to travel with a dog, biology stuff, my country (sorry I cannot teach you flamenco)...; some gastronomy: my delicious Tortilla de Patata (Spanish Omelette) and sangría (wine with fruits); talks, laughs and good vibes ;)
And Cocaí can share tons of love.
