About Me

CURRENT MISSION

In search for the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything.

ABOUT ME

I'm an adventurer, a seeker who try to fill the life with unique events and unforgettable scenes.
I've been running many projects in life, from crafting historical replicas of medieval armour (www.armaduras.com.br) to explaining physics in a fun way on a science podcast (www.scicast.com.br).
Nowadays I've been working with films: making films, web-videos, producing, directing, editing. One of my favorite hobbies is board-games, the modern ones. I have integrate my film-working with my hobby and now I produce and host a web-channel about board-game, with video reviews, short-movies, interviews and nerd stuff, the Jogando Offline (www.youtube.com/JogandoOffline).
I like to dance tango, play the piano and practice sports, like archery, rugby, fencing, football and bike riding. I'm a vegetarian for 20 years.
I enjoy the nature and try to go hicking or drive off-road whenever possible. It's always a pleasure to know new places and meet people, as there are so many fascinating of both in the world that it's worth the pursuit.
I'm in a journey hoping to enjoy good company on the way.

PHILOSOPHY

Keep smiling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Tarantino is one of my references, I like the way he writes the dialogs and how he mix different things together in very unusual ways. Wes Anderson is another great film-maker that connects with me. But there are so many good films out there, it´s difficult to list. The same with music and books. I don't have a favorite style, I try to appreciate the good ones, from Von Trier to Scorcese, from Tolkien to Asimov.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had a movie exhibited in Cannes Festival, and I was there to check it was real. That was so amazing.
I earned some awards as a football player and was drafted to the Brazilian Team one time.
I have climbed the 3rd highest mountain in Brazil (and made it back, almost dying in the process). That was a very intense, transforming experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to teach as much as to learn. I'm happy to share any bit of bread that someone finds interesting to ask for. That can include portuguese, to play the piano, to dance tango, physics, armor crafting, photography and thoughts of any kind.
