PHILOSOPHY

I try to live a compassionate life, being mindful of all other living creatures. I am a vegan for animal rights reasons. spiritually, I lean more towards the eastern religions, believing you find divinity/enlightenment by looking inwards. I strive to be tolerant of everyone...except the intolerant :)

i'm a newbie to this, but I would like to share my house with other travelers and also couch surf myself on my future travels

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

absolutely none, aside from crashing at friends' places here and there at different times of my life.

some things I like : craft beer, chess, poker, travel, good films and music, yoga, exercise, living as holistic a life as possible (that's possible with beer, right? it is "all natural"...LOL).

music - love a wide variety of hip hop and indie/modern rock.

movies - anything by the coen brothers, wes Anderson, paul Thomas Anderson. I enjoy movies that challenge or inspire. Amelie is my favorite movie of all time.

Algo increíble que he hecho

the first time I went scuba diving with sharks around me was somehow terrifying and amazing at the same time. needless to say, they didn't bother me none (aside from being a little curious and watching us from a few yards away), and I found it to be quite a beautiful experience.
