I've always wanted to travel. It started when I was young. I saw most of Canada on family vacations. My Grandparents had traveled extensively and would show me slides from various trips while regaling me with stories from around the world. I learned a deep appreciation of other cultures and saw an abundance of natural beauty. When I was thirteen I went on an exchange to Indonesia through CISV and knew that adventure would keep calling me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After high school I backpacked around Europe for four months with my brother. We mostly stayed in hostels and with some family, but we also did a little bit of couch surfing. I greatly enjoyed the opportunity to stay with like minded people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked the northern half of the Appalachian Trail (1600km), from Maine to the Maryland boarder.
