ABOUT ME

I live and work in San Francisco with my husband. I do cyber security consulting and executive coaching. When not working, I love to be outdoors (walking, swimming, biking or running!), the gym and soaking up the richness of city life.

My goal is to stay in as few hotels as possible. I love exploring and experiencing a new city - however, the act of meeting people, forming friendships, and learning the culture fascinates me far more that the touristy stuff.

I'm a very laid back guy and thus easy to travel with. Nothing really upsets me and I easily absorb the bumps and bruises of life. My favorite thing in the world is to sit in a pub with good friends and laugh hysterically over beer or wine.

PHILOSOPHY

"Life is too serious to be taken seriously."

I believe we create each and every moment. We can choose to be upset and frustrated, or choose to be happy no matter what the circumstances.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy hosting couchsurfers coming through San Francisco. Surfed most recently in Vienna and Prague.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My favorite experience thus far was in Prague where myself and other couch surfers took turns cooking meals from our home countries. Thus our Mexican couch surfers cooked burritos. I made the all-american meat loaf - which turned out fairly good considering I'm a horrible cook.

Intereses

Triathlete - thus I look for opportunities to swim, run or bike while traveling. My favorite activity: swimming sans bathing suit :)
