ABOUT ME
I do not know where life may take me, but I embrace every step of the journey - confident that each experience will give me another good story, educate me, and give me the opportunity to meet with incredible people.
Life is a collection of stories - some people watch 1000's of movies in their lifetime, I think we should attempt to live a life worth making movies about. Take risks, be stupid, push the limits, ask why, and realize you won't look back on life with regrets if you know that you did the best you could.
Spirituality is very important to me and I believe that having a higher power and another life to look forward to makes the struggles of this life much more trivial.
PHILOSOPHY
My goal in life is to live out Emerson's quote:
"To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Your legacy will not be from what the world does for you - but what you do for the world. I spent a year (2009-2010) as a volunteer high school teacher in the Marshall Islands where I taught 80 kids every day. I discovered that high school students are the same all around the world - one day they love you, the next they hate you! But what I really discovered is that people everywhere need to be cared about and education is one of the greatest ways to solve poverty.
