ABOUT ME

I love travel, 9-5 doesn't sit so well with me; i'm working on it! Happiest when exploring new places or at music festivals with good friends and a few new randomers. I am a big fan of nature and sports, anything involving one of those two gets my attention. Definitely have the travel bug, now on my 5th country (living), doubt and hope it wont be my last! S. America is high on the list of next places to go.

PHILOSOPHY

To live well and follow your passions. Risk-taking is needed to live a full life, don't follow the masses and enjoy the eccentrics...as long as they ain't too nuts!

You only live once from what I gather. People generally regret the things they don't do more than the things that they do

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None, primarily travel using hostels which is great, friends keep recommending this site so thought it worth a try.

Where to start...I guess, Bruce Springsteen!
Pretty eclectic music taste, but guitar driven with strong lyrical content is top of the list. Films, well my favourite is Good Will Hunting, but I enjoy pretty much all genres except horror as they are 90% boring. Big fan of fantasy and autobiographies..recents include Wheel of Time and Mandela's book

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Four day boat cruise from Lombok to Flores, Indonesia:
Not easy to explain in writing. Spent 4 days on a boat which spent most of its time almost vertical travelling through remote Indonesia. Fresh food was caught and prepared on deck,eye opening!Stars at night were indescribable, all to see a bunch of prehistoric monsters... Couldn't recommend more highly! Probably a 90% chance of survival, but worth the risk
