Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the summer of 2013, I toured around the great Lake Michigan by bicycle. This 780 mile journey lasted about two weeks. Along the way I was graciously aided by fellow friends, total strangers, and couchsurfers. Nothing felt better after a long day of riding than a shower, some conversation, and a place to crash. The generosity of people who I have never met before completely blew me away. This website enabled me to travel in a way that I have never before experienced. Meeting some of the kindest people in the world enhanced my travels tenfold.
