About Me
I'm a 22 year old Canadian journalist, currently travelling South America! Here's a little background on me. After spending the last two years in Toronto as an editor for an unconventional lifestyle magazine, I branched out and started freelancing for a few notable publications like Politico, Thinkprogress and Fusion. Journalism has always been a passion in competition with my desire to travel. So after a busy year of getting my freelancing career off the ground, my girlfriend and I couldn't resist booking a trip. After months of saving and practicing Spanish we're finally here.
After exploring Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia, we're now in Chile and loving it! In a few weeks we'll head back to Canada, at which point me and my girlfriend Natalie are driving from Toronto to British Columbia to live on Canada's beautiful west coast. Still, we already have plans to return to South America next year.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hitchhiked across Canada a few years back and had some of the greatest experiences of my life using Couch Surfing! Most of the people I stayed with are still my friends today, and we have since met up for beers to catch up. Can't wait to meet more people and form new friendships.
Thanks in advance to those who welcome me into their homes!
