I think I'm a really fun and warm person. I have spent about half my life in Asia (my parents were professors in China/Taiwan), and I am currently living in China (I am currently a professor of business).

I love learning new perspectives of the world, even when I don't agree with them. New perspectives keep me sharp and realize that the world isn't simple!

Having fun is important to me, and I think most conversations deserve a healthy dose of humor in them!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There are two things that I'm passionate about: Traveling, and People.

Traveling is one of the most enriching experiences for me. I love learning new perspectives, I love seeing how different cultures do life and learn and love. Seeing beautiful sights is one of the most therapeutic thing you can experience.

And People are what it's all about. People are the most beautiful thing in the world, and the human heart is the most fascinating work of art in the universe!

Book: Ender's Game, my favorite since my childhood
Music: Anything melodic and authentic, across all genres.
Movies: Shawshank Redemption is probably the greatest movie ever made. My favorite was Interstellar for a while, but right now I feel like I'm ready to find a new favorite movie. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked in the Tibetan Himalayas at 5,000 meters. That was one of the most beautiful experiences. It was also really, really hard to breathe.
