About Me

Started using this in 2019. It's really been enriching all my travels since, so I'm still here :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Regardless of whether I end up staying at someone's place, CS really does enhance travelling quite a bit. You find people, places and experiences that are otherwise impossible.

Music, Movies, and Books

I've been playing guitar for about 7 years now, which has widened my focus. I always loved a lot of rap music, mostly underground stuff ...but that's a little weird to play on guitar. Therefore, I've started to appreciate a lot of genres.
Still, my favourite musicians are mostly rappers, plus some experimental things and some old stuff (Jimi Hendrix!).

I haven't read many (= probably too few) books throughout the last five or so years; before that, I loved fantasy and anything related to nature ( especially wolves... Jack London). These days, big fan of Dostoevsky and currently reading Kafka.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think I did the worst set of stand up comedy that Dublin has ever seen. And then I did it two more times 🌞

Teach, Learn, Share

There is no selection for usefulness in the things I know. Practical things I know include playing guitar, which I could teach a little bit. I'm also into fossils and minerals; I could help you find some?
Plus, I teach First aid Courses - that might be some useful knowledge.
I love to cook, do sports and discuss anything related to (the German) language. I write lots of stuff. If you want to learn a little bit of German (and probably random language facts and thoughts), you've come to the right place.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A roof above your head If you need it.
Good food, entertainment and open conversation; I've found that it's sometimes easier to just let ones guard down with strangers and have the kind of talks that really move something.
I know my way around Kiel. There are more things to do here than most people give credit for...
I'm sure we'll figure something out!
