I am a Canadian-American expat working/studying in Germany. I have been here for the past three years and travelled quite a bit in the UK, and Scandinavia before landing here.

I love food, music, laughter, creative and fun people. I am excited about authentic ways to meet new people and share insights.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing as many friends have recommended it as a less commercial (compared to AirBnB) means of staying in places and getting to know local people and cultures. While my own apartment is too small to host anyone, I am moving to a new place soon! I hope I may start my own couchsurfing legacy soon!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have managed to experience 24 hours of sunlight during a summer job working on dendrochronology work in north-western Canada. I think this might be the only thing that beats seeing the Northern Lights above the Arctic Circle!
