I am a 26 year old dog-mom living in Portland, OR but originally from Louisville, KY. I graduated in 2012 from the University of Louisville and have lived in Louisville, Cincinnati and now Portland-working in a series of financial roles. When I'm not working or doing grad school homework I enjoy hiking, running or walking with my dog, biking, learning to dance, exploring my surroundings, heading to the beach, reading, playing tennis and cooking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recently moved to Portland, OR and am traveling much more frequently to see friends and family and to visit new places. Couch surfing allows me to travel more and meet awesome people!

Music: Florence and the Machine, JT, Mumford and Sons, Sara Bareilles, Ben Folds, Mika, T Swift and many others (I like almost all varieties and genres of music)

Movies: Pay it Forward, Harry Potter, LOTR, The Patriot, He's Just Not that Into You, Love Actually, Remember the Titans - I tried to pick movies that I would stop and watch if they were on cable!

Books: I LOVE TO READ. Feel free to bring a book to leave and take one for the road! I've read all of A Song of Ice and Fire, HP, Divergent Series

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent three months living in Nairobi, Kenya and supporting a local aid organization in 2010.
