I live in beautiful city of Calgary, Canada with my (much) better half - Jo. We both are avid travelers who enjoy going to uncommon places and experience the extra-ordinary. Met a couple from Portland recently, who are hitchhiking, backpacking and couchsurfing for over 4 months all across USA and Canada. They introduced me to couchsurfing and I decided to give it a shot.

It's a brilliant and noble concept. There could be nothing better than meeting interesting people while getting more out of travel budget at the same time.

Hard to pick one. Road trip from Yukon to Alaska. Swimming with whale sharks. There are a lot of things coming to mind right now.
