My name is Robin!

Currently traveling in Turkey and Southern Europe! Some alone and some with a friend or two. I love learning new things and meeting people.

I am originally from the beautiful San Juan Islands in Northern Washington State, and live in Seattle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet great people.
To travel cheaply and to help others do the same.
To see new areas from the perspectives of locals and share local perspective.

I have used Couchsurfing to travel a lot of the Southern United States, and have always had amazing experiences. Now I am hoping to use it while traveling abroad. At some point when I am in a more consistent living situation, I would like to be able to return the favor and host.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rode my bicycle from North Carolina to Florida to Louisiana in Winter 2017-2018 with a friend, couchsurfing and camping the whole way.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to communicate some basics in a few languages, how to fiddle with a bicycle , how to strum a guitar, how to find a few constellations, how to start (and put out) a fire. I can make some stuff up, too, if you want to learn more.

I like learning everything, especially region specific-history and current issues. Always looking for people to practice my Spanish (and more recently ASL) with.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A winning smile, a genuine interest in the world around me, and a good attitude.
Also always interested in helping out with chores and whatever needs to be done to make your lives as hosts run a little smoother.
