About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Escalate everything, forever

ABOUT ME

Laid back, fun, always up for new stuff. Bilingual in German and English, grew up in Berlin. Studied Marine Biology in Wales and went to Costa Rica to do research with Whale Sharks. Know a little spanish. I have a nice, central home and know my way around.

PHILOSOPHY

You don't have to prove anything to anyone, including yourself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If you stay with me, you can be sure I'll take good care of you. My irish mum is the best host in the world, guess it rubbed off a bit :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not so much via CS, but plenty by just being social! I did stay with a very friendly surfer in Qatar, of all places! I used to be a boy scout, so I've slept in barnyards, churches, big tents with fires and little tents with bugs, next to rivers smelling of rotten eggs and lakes surrounded by snow. Having friends all over the world, I've crashed in luxury apartments and bare wooden floors.

Music, Movies, and Books

Sooo many. I grew up with hiphop and rock, then into the Berlin techno scene. Big movie buff, love anything that's well written and has a cool production design. I'm really interested when a story grips me and spins me into another world. Big Reader, Fiction and Non-Fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow this is so hard to pinpoint. Maybe the moment I found out I want to do Kung Fu for the rest of my life, until my body doesn't allow it anymore. Maybe finding the love of my life, losing it, battling through depression and becoming stronger than ever. Surfing, full stop. It's the little things that happen when you least expect it. Like coming home to someone waiting for you for the first time ever, or finding a watch you thought was stolen buried deep in a bag. I love life with a passion.

Teach, Learn, Share

I make the best dahl soup in the world. But you will fart. Also happy to tandem German or English.
