Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travel and meeting new people. I find that Couchsurfing is a very good way to meet up with local people.

Interests

In addition to the obvious that I like to travel and get to know new people. As everyone here on Coachsurfing probably does. On my current trip I learned to love photographing and editing. I have been in South America since January 2022 and love to discover the cultures and peculiarities of the countries.
I like to do sports and am always available for a good conversation over a beer or a glass of wine. I'm also a decent chess player and like to watch Formula 1 on a rainy sunday.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I really experienced already a lot of amazing stuff. Here are 3 things that come to my mind right now:

1. Summiting the Cotopaxi (second highest volcano in Ecuador)

2. I visited Chernobyl in Ukraine, very impresiv to see. A very sad and sobering story of course. But it is amazing to see how nature takes back its habitat.

3. I crossed the Swiss Alps on a 10 day tour with 3 friends on 2 tandems. It was very adventurous to spend the night under the open sky without a tent and only with a sleeping bag. we experienced so much on this tour that i could probably write a book about it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Of course I would love to share my travel experience or my culture with you. Also if you want to practice your English It would be a honor to help you.
And as mentioned I'm travelling with my camera equipment so if you need some cool shots of something or cool pictures you need a drone for, it would be a pleasure to do them with you. ;)
