About Me
Alright. Watch in awe as I either convince you I'm a totally awesome person and we should hangout!
Or that I'm a complete weirdo who should probably be carefully avoided.
The majority of my life is spent inverted, climbing things or wandering off into the wilderness.
A disproportionate number of my hobbies are skills rendered obsolete at last a century ago, and all the rest would be much more helpful were my life an action movie or I ran away with a circus (again).
I am also easily bribed with scotch, dark chocolate, and Jasmine tea.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Cause no matter where you go, staying with a local will improve the experience.
Interests
I am a movement addict, outdoors enthusiast, obligate nomad, a bit of a geek and, a circus monkey.
Particular fan of rock climbing, urban exploration, parkour, and martial arts (mainly European, but I've done a couple of Asian ones as well).
Random things like blacksmithing, brewing, bushcraft and bow making as well.
Acro and tumbling are my little sources of circus cred and I've dabbled in aerial straps and handbalancing.
I'm prone to talking about life, the universe and everything if given half a chance.
My default recreation is reading way to much and drinking tea.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Hitchhiker's Guide "trilogy", The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Dune, Orwell, Asimov, Huxley, Pratchett, Gaiman, Ursula K Le Guin, Guy Gavriel Kay, Spider Robinson, Tom Robins, Murakami, anything dystopian/post apocalyptic, and so many more this list could get ridiculous.
That's not even thinking about all the non fiction either
Spirit of the West, Led Zeppelin, Eluveitie, Wardruna, The Yoshida Brothers, Dropkick Murphys, Nujabes, almost everything played on traditional instruments, and loads more again. Metal, punk, classical, folk and rock being the majority though.
Film fits a similar rambling range, but with a particular weakness for sci-fi and fantasy, weird Indy stuff and nature and travel documentary.
TV, is a geeky mix of sci-fi, anime, historical pieces, and anything joss Whedon, has had his hand in.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Managed to stay alive this long. Which comes as a surprise to some folks I know.
Teach, Learn, Share
That the secret to happiness is a truly good cup of tea.
Or all sort of other random nonsense!
Maybe a handstand, or a backflip if we have enough time.
Anything you know about I shall do my very best to siphon all knowledge of out of your brain.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My charming self and a compulsive need to do the dishes whenever I'm staying with someone.
All the rest depends on who's hosting I suppose.
