About Me

I lived in Paris and Dijon (France), before moving to Brooklyn, NY for a year as an exchange student at the City College of New York. I am mostly interested in history - and curious to learn more about the U.S.' - as well as politics, drama, and dance. I have a lot to tell about my country and language - I have sometimes started teaching French for the time of some of my past CouchSurfing experiences - and can't wait to learn more about this one through travel in as many different places as I can.

I feel like I know Europe quite well now, which is why I'm throwing myself into the discovery of a new continent! I have already been to New York as well as California, and I wish I can enjoy some time in as many different places in the country as I can all along the year.

Besides, I'm pretty cool, clean and quiet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first used CouchSurfing while I was travelling on my own in Israel for a month in June 2017. My wish was to meet with locals to better understand the country, and I loved it! I had nothing but great experiences and life-changing time with many of my hosts. I know no more enriching way to travel, which is why I will keep going that way.

I hope I will soon have a place of my own where I can host people!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm very found of cinema and I go pretty frequently to the movies. I love Tarantino's "Pulp Fiction", Coppola's "Apocalypse Now", Lars von Trier's "Melancholia" and Olivier Dahan's "La Môme/La Vie en Rose".

My favourite book is "Flowers for Algernon", a novel written by Daniel Keyes. It tells the story of a mentally disabled man that recovers from his mental disability thanks to science and the book is that man's notebook where he writes everyday as his treatment is getting efficient. I also love the kids book "Le Petit Prince/The Little Prince".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the sunrise while swimming in the Dead Sea in Israel, where one of my CouchSurfing previous hosts brought me at the crack of dawn.

Teach, Learn, Share

The university course I'm following has a special focus on Central and Eastern Europe, which makes me something like a growing specialist of that region, or let's say for now an informed student.
As I wrote before, I am also really into teaching a bit of French, if anyone's into it too!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can't wait to hear about different life experiences in the U.S. and I have a lot to say myself about my own country, Europe, and travel experiences.
