ABOUT ME

Most would say that I am a happy, fun-loving, deep-thinking jazz vocalist/songwriter. I’m also a Professional Cuddler with Cuddlist. I've had a lifelong love affair with different cultures and languages. I have a Masters degree in Psychology and a second Bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies.
While I currently live in Lawrence, Kansas, I have a lived all over Florida and the East Coast. As part of my early 20's I toured and performed extensively across the U.S. and overseas. Some of the most amazingly wonderful people I have met have been while traveling! I LOVE to cook and enjoy organic, Whole Foods, and Yoga.

I'm a huge believer in the Law of Attraction and the interconnectedness of all that is.

I'm going to be traveling a bit this year and would love to meet some more of my fellow travelers on the way.

Interests

I sing and write music professionally (jazz and singer-songwriter). I'm typically reading several books at a time (or listening to books on tape) and have been known to stay up all night because I can't put a book down. I thoroughly enjoy a good home-cooked meal and love to cook. I also enjoy trying new foods, being introduced to new music and seeing the natural beauty of the planet. Some of my favorite places to visit were Yosemite National Forest in California or the Redwood Forest. I'm awestruck by the amazing beauty of our planet. I have three Siamese cats who are quite intelligent and love to sing as well:) Some of my favorite outdoor activities are hiking, viewing nature, boating, canoeing/kayaking, and outdoor festivals. I'm a huge Sci-fi fan!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've lived on the Atlantic Ocean or Gulf Coast for the last 15 years and each time I look at the water I am reminded of how amazing life and our place on the planet truly is. Some of my most transcendental moments have been while performing or writing music. And finally my most precious memories and experiences have been when I've felt connected to the Divine either through realizing my interconnectedness with the Earth, music, nature or other human beings. Life is a beautiful, precious experience.
