ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Robin, birth name Nathalie as you can see in references, but going to apply for a name change soon! To clear up the confusion with name differences.

One of my greatest passion in life is exploring the world around me, whether it is an interesting street I've never seen before in my neighbourhood or going to a continent on the other side of the world.

I currently live in the Netherlands, near Arnhem. I really enjoy being abroad, seeing all the small and large differences like customs, architecture, food, interaction, nature.

I study Forest and Nature management. My goal after graduation is to do something with nature/environmental education and media. Also help creating more green in cities. In my free time I like to cycle in the woods, try to improve my illustration and work on my sci-fi/crime/fantasy fiction writing skills.

Movies I really enjoy:
Contact, A Beautiful Mind, 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Man Who Knew Infinity, Taxi Driver.

Music: Atmospheric, funky, technical, orchestral, experimental. Listening to jazz a lot lately, but tend to like a lot of genres, as long as the artist has put their soul in it.

Return to Forever, Daft Punk, Enslaved, Secret Chiefs 3, Baloji, Stromae, Camel, Steven Wilson, Kyteman, Animals As Leaders, Calexico and many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my first interrail trip to southern Europe I visited friends across Europe that I normally am not able to see. And meeting other travellers along the way while visiting nostalgic childhood places I haven't been to in many years, and being wowed by new unknown places.
