I studied Mathematics, IT and Design. But my interests are very broad.
I like reading or solving a problem.
As my "creative balance" I act at different theaters and sing in a small choir.
I like Geocaching as a way to discover my surroundings and learn new places.

I'm more the chilling than the party type.

Oh and recently I started collecting licorice liquors. :-) (Not for getting drunk and wasted but for fun.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I did postcrossing for some time and thought couchsurfing may be an even better way to learn new people and environments.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music is difficult to pin down. I don't have *a* favorite song or artist. Not even a favorite genre.

Favorite movies are a little easier: First of all "Back to the Future"! Also other Robert Zemeckis movies. True Lies, The Fifth Element, Triangle, ...
Comedies by Zucker, Zucker & Abrahams and some movies featuring Jim Carrey are coming to mind, too.

Books is a little harder again.
I enjoy books by Ken Follett and Dan Brown as well as the lesser known David Ambrose or Andreas Eschbach. Also Philip K. Dick and Mark Twain.
But I guess my *favorite* book is "Gödel, Escher, Bach" by Douglas Hofstadter

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I won a first prize for an audio play I wrote.

And I made my girlfriend fall in love with me. :-)
