ABOUT US

Travelers and lovers of life. We are married and live with our 9 month old daughter, dog, chickens and land mate (our wonderful friend who lives in our backyard cottage). Robin loves to surf and play music. Lauren loves being crafty and making art. We both enjoy hiking, gardening, riding bikes, playing at the beach, drinking tea and good beer!

PHILOSOPHY

Connect with people, spend time in nature, show our daughter the magic in the world and try to forget that cell phones exist as often as possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've only surfed a couple of times, but they were awesome! Its a great way to connect with people and places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lauren has sailed all over Mexico, the South Pacific and Hawaii, has done three long ocean crossings (30 days at sea!) and has given birth to a child.

Robin has travelled all over the world for pleasure and for work and has made countless documentaries about environmental and food system justice issues.
