CURRENT MISSION

I am co-founder of Actuality Media, an organization that takes students abroad to make short documentaries. Also, I observe life, I gather many, many scattered ideas and compress them into interesting stories... all out of pure compulsion.

ABOUT ME

My favorite three things are Writing, Biking, and Exploring (be it a path, a mountain, or a country). Any time I can mix the love of my life into these things, it's all for the better.
I love going out and finding new music.
I have read book after book since i was a child. I can't help myself. I always enjoyed writing but only considered it a serious possibility after a short story of mine made girls cry in college. Until recently I worked as a manager at a bar/restaurant, so needless to say nightlife was my life. I have friends everywhere, and if I don't run into them on the town I will see them when other friends or myself host parties for movies, games, or just for dinner.
When asked my religion, I often reply "sun worshiper."
I enjoy using the semi-colon.
I bike daily. I don't smoke cigarettes, but I don't mind those who do. I don't drink soda, don't eat fast food, and consider much of what is found in grocery stores to be filth. I like to think for myself. I like to taste new things.

PHILOSOPHY

I take what comes and do what I can to live a happy life. I'm a calm person that's hard to piss off and hard to stress out. Respect for life guides most of my decisions and morals.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I learned about CS by trying it out with someone who'd done it before. It was a great experience, I plan to take advantage again, and I'd like to return the favor. I'm sure there are a lot of couches to be surfed in Corvallis, but my odd schedule may just make my couch perfect for someone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed in and out of the States. Every place has been great, every host has been awesome, and each experience charming.
