Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Normally, I visit couchsurfing when I'm about to go to a new place willing to get to know new people, socialise and exploring the area. So far I've been more a surfer than a host, which might change in the future though...you never know. :)

Interests

I am a 25 y/o student from Germany, into the whole wide world of musicology. I study in the 6th semester of my bachelor studies, about to compose my BA thesis about the Mi.Mu gloves, cyberware to make you freely control music by gesture. Not only into the theory behind but also the experience within, I play piano and sing... aaaaaall the time. Like, seriously, I sing a LOT. Fortunately, it's quite okay to listen to most of the time but in case I should be annoying - just tell me, I'll understand. :p

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC - well, quite broad in spectrum!

Evanescence, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, Imogen Heap, Florence & the machine, Vanessa Carlton, Flyleaf, Within Temptation, Lady GaGa, Halestorm, Nightwish, Tarja, Christina Aguilera... I'm quite a pop / rock, female vocals kinda liker I suppose. Oh, wait!
Breaking Benjamin! Hah! Exception to the rules, duh!

MOVIES

I like disney movies sooooo much, most of them, many of them. In general I'm attracted to animated, funny stuff all over, I love it lighthearted and comforting. Love movies are nice as well, horror though is not that much my favourite genre. I love Tim Burton, though! Dark, romantic, blissful...and slightly twisted.

BOOKS

I don't read that much to be honest...I'd rather tell stories myself. I just never write them down, which is a pity, I know!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year I've been to Canada for two months with my flatmate Kathie - it was a BLAST! I'd love to travel more and more if I found the time, well...so far my BA is what's gonna come first!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a trained singer and might be able to show you some tricks, or might stun you with my knowledge about video games. It's somewhat geeky, I know but normally you know best what you like a lot, right?
If you want to, I can teach you some piano or show you proper breathing technique. Lay down and exhale sound!
